The Domingo Antonio Sifontes Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), located in Tumremo, in Esequiba Guiana, received 60 types of vital medications from the Bolivarian Government to ensure comprehensive care for the population.
The range includes drugs both for hospital use and for outpatient visits and outpatient treatments, ensuring a wide spectrum of medical coverage.
In this regard, the governor of the entity, Neil Villamizar, stressed that this initiative is the product of “the union of efforts of a single Government”, which includes Guiana Esequiba, the Mayor's Office of Sifontes and health authorities, with the primary objective of ensuring the well-being of the people.
In addition to the delivery of medications, a fully equipped ambulance was incorporated, for the timely and safe transfer of patients who require more complex care in other health centers.
Villamizar assured that with these actions, health care is strengthened, since it favors the entire population without distinction, from the baby to the elderly.
He emphasized the inclusion of indigenous people, miners and farmers, recognizing the diversity and specific needs of the communities that inhabit the Essequibo, said the regional president through his social networks.
He also extended his thanks to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, for their significant support, which translates into lives saved and better quality of medical care for the region.
