The Bolivarian Government provided a significant supply of medicines and medical supplies, as well as reagents and materials necessary for the blood bank to the “Dr. Manuel Núñez Tovar” University Hospital (HUMazo News Team) in Maturín.

The action, managed by Governor Ernesto Luna, includes gastrointestinal medications, hemostatics, anesthesia, pain medications, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesics, anticonvulsants, anxiolytics and neuromuscular drugs, among other supplies; the objective is to ensure timely and quality care during this period of increased mobility in the state of Monagas.

The director of the HUMazo News Team, Luis García Mata, personally supervised the reception of the supplies, highlighting the relevance of this day to dealing with the most frequent emergencies during these days off, such as traffic accidents, poisoning, injuries and acute health complications.

“These batches of medicines and supplies are of vital importance to ensure that our hospital is fully prepared for any eventuality during Holy Week. We thank the governor for his timely management, which ensures that no patient is left without care due to lack of resources,” said García Mata.

The highest authority of the hospital emphasized that with the provision of reagents and materials essential for the operation of the blood bank, the availability of blood components for emergency transfusions is guaranteed.
