The curtain is rising! FUTVE League Apertura Tournament kicks off today

The Open Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) season 2025 begins this Friday, January 24, with two matches.
The first match of the day will take place at the Olympic Stadium of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), when Metropolitanos FC hosts Academia Puerto Cabello.
The violet team will have the technical direction of the Uruguayan Roland Marcenaro. While the academics will be under the command of the Spaniard Iván Fernández.
In the other match, Monagas SC and Deportivo La Guaira will face each other at the Monumental Stadium in Maturín.
The Guarapiche Warriors will be led by Venezuelan coach Jhonny Ferreira and the Orange Machine will be led by their compatriot Juan Domingo Tolisa no.
