This Tuesday, May 12, the General Staff of Public Services were installed in the states of Monagas and Sucre, an instance that the Bolivarian Government created to guarantee the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

With the presence of the sector vice-president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, together with the governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna and other authorities of the public services cabinet, strategic lines were defined to optimize water, electricity, roads, gas and telecommunications in the 13 municipalities of the entity.

In his speech, Ramírez emphasized that the fundamental objective is to review, municipality by municipality, the priority needs in the areas of water, electricity, roads, gas and telecommunications.

“We are drawing up a concrete plan of action that will allow us to provide immediate and efficient solutions to raise the quality of life of the entire people of Monagua,” he said.

For his part, Governor Ernesto Luna said that this installation of the General Staff represents a new stage of efficiency in the management of services for the state.

“We are coordinating efforts between the National Government, the Regional Government and, above all, with organized Popular Power, who are the ones who know firsthand the realities of their communities. Monagas is moving towards the optimization of its basic services with this comprehensive plan,” he said.

In addition, in the state of Sucre, the meeting served as the setting for the signing of an important resource transfer agreement, specifically aimed at planning and preventive maintenance of the state's road network.

The meeting was attended by Sectorial Vice President Ramírez, the governor of the entity, Jhoanna Carrillo, as well as representatives of the Ministries attached to that vice-presidency and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

“We talked about the electricity issue, the water distribution plan, the projects being implemented in the Turimiquire System, and an agreement was signed for the transfer of economic resources for the planning, execution and maintenance of road infrastructure in the state of Sucre,” Ramírez said.

He added that the Scientific Council has designed a roadmap for each service that is in full execution and we will continue working as a single team to ensure the optimization of each of them.
