The Government of Aragua takes care of children during a day against strabismus

Through a day of specialized care in ophthalmology, boys and girls from the different municipalities of the state of Aragua were treated, with a diagnosis of presbyopia. The governor of the entity Karina Carpio, together with the director of the Simón Aragua Regional Children's Foundation, Nakary Motta, and the director of the Regional Ophthalmological Center of Aragua, Egleé López, treated children aged up to 10 years.
In total, 19 children were treated, 10 of them have already undergone surgery and nine are in the process of being treated with their surgical interventions. According to a press release, all these boys have received their previous specialized ophthalmological care, which focuses on their preoperative exams and the supplies and medications guaranteed free of charge.
The minors treated are residents of the municipalities of Urdaneta, Zamora, Francisco Linares Alcántara, Santos
Michelena, Libertador, and two states of the country: Carabobo and Guárico.
