The Government of Falcón has recovered 15 kilometers of the Morón-Coro highway

Some 15 kilometers of the Morón - Coro national highway, in Falcón state, trunk 003, have been rehabilitated so far this year, said the governor of the state, Víctor Clark, providing an assessment of the road improvement in the Píritu - Jacura - San Francisco section of the same highway axis.

The regional president added that, as part of the state's asphalting plan, more than 25,000 tons of asphalt have been placed on the East Coast axis alone.

He stated that the action has been carried out jointly between the national and regional pavement plan being carried out by the Bolivarian government.

“Thanks to the unrestricted support of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the coordinated work of the Ministry for Transportation and Roads of Falcón, among other institutions, 1,200 tons of asphalt are currently being placed on the said section, which are part of a total of 3,600 planned to be used in the coming days,” he explained.

He argued that the tasks are accompanied by weeding and cleaning the sides, demarcation, marking and placing cat's eyes.

He added that the improvements in this important arterial road are strategic because it is the most used road in the state, which also connects the state with the center of the country.

It also represents a connection for the development of all economic and tourist activities.

He also added that simultaneously road optimization work is being carried out in the Maicillal-Cerro Togogo section of the sector, with the installation of more than five thousand tons of asphalt, which are already included in the balance sheet.

These tasks are part of the ongoing commitment to rehabilitate the most strategic road corridors in the state of Falcón, ensuring optimal traffic both for the inhabitants of the area and for the transport of cargo and visitors.

Clark mentioned the work front activated in trunk 004 Coro - Churuguara with the objective of guaranteeing not only passability, but also the revival of productive and tourist activity to and from the southern axis of Falconian geography.
