The INTT carries out an access control operation for heavy-duty vehicles to Caracas

This week, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) will monitor the access of heavy cargo vehicles to the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, in order to verify compliance with restricted schedules for this type of vehicle.
The INTT workers are located on the Central Regional Highway (at the height of Tazón), in the overflow of the Metropolitan Distributor, in the direction of Caracas-Guarenas and in the El Socorro overpass, in the direction of Guarenas-Caracas, where compliance with the restrictions established in Joint Ministerial Resolution 088-0190 will be monitored.
This regulation establishes that the circulation of heavy-duty vehicles is prohibited from Monday to Friday, at the following times:
* Tomorrow: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
* Afternoon: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
It should be noted that these actions represent the INTT's commitment to ensuring the safety of users who transit through the capital city.
By verifying compliance with these restrictions, it seeks to reduce traffic congestion and promote a more orderly flow on the roads, which will considerably benefit drivers of light vehicles.
The INTT calls on drivers to respect established regulations and collaborate with authorities to ensure safer and more efficient traffic.
