The Legislative Branch installed parliamentary friendship groups with countries in Asia and Europe

The National Legislature established parliamentary friendship groups with Belarus, the State of Qatar and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The installation ceremony took place in the Batalla de Carabobo auditorium of the Bolivian Museum, and was led by the second vice-president of the Parliament, deputy Grecia Colmenares (PSUV/Táchira).
In this regard, according to a press release from the Parliament, the deputy stressed that this parliamentary structure plays a decisive role in participatory democracy, the self-determination of peoples and the defense of international law.
The event, which brought together accredited parliamentarians and representatives of the diplomatic corps in the country, emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy as a driving force for shared development in the economic, political, social, cultural, industrial, technological and human spheres.
The activity highlighted that the relationship with the Republic of Belarus is focused on technological transfer and industrial production; while with the State of Qatar it is focused on the expansion of energy and air investments.
With the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the relationship with Venezuela revolves around the firm defense of sovereignty and cultural exchange.
The Venezuela-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group was made up of deputies María Gabriela Vegas (PSUV/La Guaira), as president; and Jacqueline Fária (PSUV/Barinas) as vice-president.
The rest are made up of parliamentarians América Pérez (PSUV/Nueva Esparta), Yeinny Pinto (PSUV/La Guaira), Carolina García (PSUV/Lara), Luisa Rodriguez (PSUV/Guárico) and Lisett Muñoz (PSUV/Anzoátegui).
Also the deputies Zoilo Arostegui (PCV/La Guaira), Willy Medina (PSUV/Táchira), Alexis Toledo (PSUV/La Guaira)), Joel Cedeño (PSUV/Zulia) and Mario Castillo (PSUV/La Guaira). Deputy Marifred Rodríguez (PSUV/Portuguesa) was left as secretary.
Meanwhile, the Venezuela-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Group was chaired by Deputy Juan Carlos Alemán (PSUV/Dtto). Capital). Deputy Fernando Bastidas (PSUV/Falcón) is vice-president.
This group includes deputies Inder Romero (SV/Portuguesa), Eduardo Limas (PSUV/Barinas), Milagros Veliz (PSUV/Bolivar), Jessica Bello (PSUV/Trujillo), Josefa Santana (PSUV/Barinas) and Carlos Dikson (UNTC/Zulia). As secretary, Ingrid Carmona.
In the Venezuela-Democratic People's Republic of Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group, the deputy José Vielma Mora (PSUV/national) assumes the presidency; and the vice-presidency, the deputy William Fariñas (PSUV/national).
It was also made up of parliamentarians Ignacio Buznego (PSUV/Barinas), Gerardina Parada (PSUV/Zulia), Juan Romero (PSUV/Zulia), Manuel Alemán (PCV/Táchira), Ramón Magallanes (PSUV/Guárico) and Héctor Plata (PSUV/Anzoátegui).
It also includes deputies Blass Carrillo (PSUV/Guárico), Eduardo Puerta (PSUV/Guárico), Joel Flores (ORA/Amazonas), Willy Medina (PSUV/Táchira) and Yasneidi Guarnieri (PSUV/Yaracuy). The secretariat was in charge of Orlando Becerra.
At the end of the activity, the deputy Grecia Colmenares, pointed out that the parliamentary friendship groups, formed this Tuesday, must function as the legislative arm that streamlines bilateral agreements between countries, cooperation, solidarity and the promotion of a multicentric and multipolar world, based on parliamentary diplomacy, as the main flag.
