The mayor's office of Caracas remains deployed in areas affected by the rains

Regarding the heavy rains generated by the recent passage of a tropical wave, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported on the deployment in certain affected areas in the capital city.

Through his Instagram account , Meléndez specified that “we have been in Caracas since the first moment of this impact of the rains”.

In this sense, it became known that these works were joined by “our brigades, teams from the Ministry of Public Works, as well as the Government of La Guaira, to participate in this approach in the different affected areas, clearing roads, cleaning sewers, pruning trees and everything else that is necessary”.

He also stressed that supervision and inspection work is still active, “to restore total passability and provide peace of mind to the people,” he said.
