The Ministry of Transport began rehabilitation work on the La Planicie tunnel towards Catia- Car

The Ministry of People's Power for Transport announced the start of a day of preventive maintenance and rehabilitation on the axis of the La Planicie tunnel (lower part), El Paraiso and El Valle on the North-South highway, towards Catia-Coche.
The work carried out by the ministerial body's workforce will last until May 15, from 9:00 at night to 4:00 in the morning, focusing on the comprehensive recovery of structures to ensure the safety of users.
The Ministry of Transportation urged the population and drivers of Greater Caracas to take their forecasts and to use alternate routes during work hours to avoid unnecessary delays.
