In a deployment aimed at strengthening scientific learning in Aragua, a total of 12 educational institutions in that entity received wave pendulums, a nationally manufactured teaching tool developed by the National Center for Telecommunications Development and Research Foundation (Cendit).
The day, coordinated by the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite Aragua), benefited schools and high schools in the municipalities of Urdaneta, Camatagua, Lamas, Mariño, Mario Briceño Iragorry, Francisco Linares Alcántara, Bolívar, Zamora, Tovar, Ocumare de la Costa and Sucre, ensuring that technical knowledge reaches the most diverse areas of the region.
According to a press release, this pedagogical resource, which pays homage to the illustrious Venezuelan mathematician Juan Manuel Cagigal, allows students in basic, secondary and technical education to transcend theory to immerse themselves in empirical experimentation through the observation of harmonic patterns, the understanding of simple harmonic motion and the relationship between length and period in the generation of synchronized waves.
By integrating these instruments into classrooms, the teaching-learning process is streamlined, making it easier for Aragüeña's youth to master complex concepts of physics through direct practice with prototypes designed and assembled by Venezuelan scientists.
The delivery of these equipment is part of the strategic policies promoted by the national Government, under the management of the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT).
