The National Government sells 34,000 tons of food every day Thursday, Friday and Saturday

President Nicolás Maduro reiterated that in the country there are active days of selling food at affordable prices in all communities of Venezuela, reaching 34,000 tons every day.

With regard to domestic production and food supply in the country, the National President emphasized that, through sovereign country fairs, fish fairs, the opening of markets with the new Pedvales scheme and other forms of sales, the Venezuelan people enjoy the purchase of fresh food, produced in the country, at prices that are between 40 and 70% cheaper than in traditional markets.

The Head of State stressed that these special days, which will take place until the end of December 2025, allow consumers to have food in their own community, in addition to having access to high quality products.
