The National Risk System remains active in Aragua, Carabobo and Sucre in the face of heavy rains

Officials of the National Risk System are still active in the states of Aragua, Sucre and Carabobo, in order to anticipate the actions to be implemented in connection with the heavy rains that have occurred in recent days.

In contact with the State channel, Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Governor Aragua, Karina Carpio, specified that around 200 men are deployed in the different municipalities of the entity. In addition, he added that 37 weather stations are in operation, while recognizing the role of Popular Power and the advantages that prevention work has brought , “our pumping areas are 100% activated and one of the reasons why we did not suffer more damage was precisely because of prevention.”

For his part, the director of Civil Protection of the state of Sucre, Luis Villalba, indicated that the entity is carrying out permanent monitoring in areas that have historically suffered denial and flooding. In addition, the entire drainage and sewerage system is checked.

Finally, in Carabobo, representatives of the National Risk System are active and constantly monitoring the different water tributaries of the entity.
