In the state of Sucre, the people continue to mobilize to demand the release of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Lady, Cilia Flores, who were kidnapped by the United States during military attacks against Venezuelan territory.
From Rivero Square, the People marched to Bolivar Square, where they gathered as a measure of protest to demand that the North American empire respect the popular will that democratically and sovereignly elected Nicolás Maduro to lead the reins of Venezuela.
In this regard, in a press release from the Government of Sucre State, Governor Jhoanna Carrillo reaffirmed that they will not allow any foreigner to govern the nation and urged the people not to fall into provocations or to doubt the Bolivarian process.
“I ask you for maximum loyalty, this is a battle of having courage, courage and knowing who the real enemy is. We will win this battle, we assume it and, this battle is until we see Nicolás Maduro and Cilia return to their homeland,” he said.
He stressed that the country is not going through any transition and, he stressed, that what the nation is experiencing today is the continuity of the constitutional thread, where the President in Charge, Delcy Rodríguez, attached to the State of Exception and the Constitution, will guarantee governance, peace and sovereignty in the national territory until they return President Maduro.
He also stressed that they will remain in permanent mobilization for at least 40 days, a period of time in which they demand that the nation's leaders be released.
He reminded the population to wave flags to strengthen identity and respect for the patriotic symbols and dignity of a people that will not bow to the interests of the North American empire.
