The People rule here! Head of State commemorated 18 years of the Organic Law of Community Councils

Through the social network X, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated the 18th anniversary of the enactment by Commander Hugo Chávez of the Organic Law of Community Councils.

“18 years ago, the Organic Law of Community Councils was created to give an impetus to popular participation by guaranteeing the recognition of the organized People as an instance of Government for the direct exercise of their sovereignty. In Venezuela, the people rule!” , wrote the Head of State on the social network this Tuesday.

Let us remember that the Commander promoted this Law for the direct exercise of popular sovereignty and its relationship with the organs and entities of the Public Power for the formulation, execution, control and evaluation of public policies. As well as plans and projects related to community development.
