The Public Health System in Aragua served families transferred from La Guaira

A multidisciplinary team from the National Public Health System of the state of Aragua treated 49 people from the state of La Guaira who were transferred to the state after the double earthquakes of last 24 June.
According to a press release, the team guaranteed 42 consultations in the areas of general medicine, gastroenterology, pediatrics, physiatry and dentistry, while carrying out control investigations on patients with high blood pressure.
The professionals also gave educational sessions focused on mental health through tools for crisis management in the family nucleus.
The medical and social care plan for the survivors of La Guaira will continue to be progressively deployed in the different municipalities of Aragua, in order to guarantee and administer supplies, treatments, epidemiological and clinical monitoring free of charge to each citizen.
