Fuel delivery for industrial vessels began in the states of Sucre and Anzoátegui. This concrete action, framed in the Pilot Fuel Supply Plan, continues the meeting held last week at the PESCALBA facilities, where strategies for the reactivation of the sector were outlined.
As had been agreed, the Sucre and Anzoátegui boats began to receive the necessary fuel to set sail for fishing in the next few days. Falcón is expected to be the third state to implement this program.
At the same time, at the beginning of the pilot fuel plan, the Deputy Ministry of Primary Production, Pedro Guerra, held a civic-military meeting with authorities from Anzoátegui, to continue the work of building the new fishing system.
This technical panel reflects the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to work together with the private sector to establish a regulatory framework that promotes the sustainability, efficiency and growth of industrial fishing in the country.
“Collaboration between all the actors involved is important to consolidate a fishing sector with clear rules and mechanisms that guarantee long-term sustainable development,” said the Deputy Minister for Primary Production.
