Minister Gabriela Jiménez asserted that the country's Venezuelan scientific community rejects the vile kidnapping perpetrated against President Nicolás Maduro and First Combatant Cilia Flores.

“Our women of science, researchers and technologists send heartfelt letters of support to President Nicolás Maduro and our First Combatant Cilia Flores,” Jiménez said on her Telegram account.

He added that the scientific sector “is no stranger to the battle; our pen and our intellect are at the service of truth and the defense of our national sovereignty.”

“Today more than ever, we continue to strongly reject the vile kidnapping perpetrated against our President and First Combatant Cilia Flores. We want them back! Venezuela does not faint in its demand for justice; its homeland, which is built with sovereignty and dignity, awaits them with open arms to continue winning,” stressed the head of the science and technology portfolio.
