The Venezuela Renace Plan guaranteed comprehensive medical care to more than 100 inhabitants of Aragua

The National Public Health System (SPNS) carried out an extensive medical and preventive health day in the state of Aragua to protect the health of vulnerable families after the earthquake.
The healthcare operation, according to a press release from the Health portfolio, covered strategic areas of Block 45 in the Las Acacias sector, belonging to the Joaquín Crespo parish of the Girardot municipality, as well as the main street of the La Cañada de Ruiz Pineda sector in the municipality of Santos Michelena.
This government action channeled direct assistance responses to a total of 106 citizens, including older adults, women and children from both urban locations. The initiative consolidated the delivery of 514 health benefits and the provision of 197 specialized medical consultations, designed to strengthen the primary care network and post-seismic mental health care in the Aragüeño territory
The territorial deployment offered specialized evaluations in general medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, dentistry, gynecology and psychological care. In addition, the health teams applied 212 clinical tests on blood pressure and anthropometric indicators of weight and height, accompanied by informative workshops to promote healthy habits and family self-care in emergency situations.
