The Venezuelan weightlifter Ángel Rodríguez bathed in gold, after lifting a total of 320 kg, in the 1st Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024 .

The Venezuelan won the gold one in the 81 kg category, after lifting 145 kg in the starter, 175 kg in the engine and a total of 320 kg.

Of the 5 gold that Venezuela has so far, 4 are in Weightlifting.
