The XXXVII Military Inter-Academy Games 2026 begin this February 20

In a combination of physical dexterity, discipline and honor, the Venezuelan military training community will be measured for 12 days at the XXXVII Military Interacademy Games 2026, starting this February 20, in the sports competitions that will take place between the venues of Caracas and Aragua.

Future officers will compete in a wide range of combat disciplines, military skill, joint and endurance sports to test their physical abilities and mental strategy with the goal of achieving glory for their respective academies during the biennial event that celebrates its 37th edition this year.

A total of 12 military training centers will give life to the national joust, including the military academies of Aviation, National Guard, Medicine, Army and Health Sciences. Also the military technical academies of the Guard, Communications and Electronics, the Navy, the Aviation and the Army.

In the same way, the Academy of Troop Officers and the Bolivarian Navy will be added. The city of Caracas will host the competitive events of the largest number of sports, which are 10 in total.

The athletics will take place in the impressive Brígido Iriarte stadium and the orientation race in the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park.

While in the Military Complex of Fuerte Tiuna, badminton and fencing competitions will be held in the indoor gymnasium of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard (Amgnb); swimming in the Prof. Roberto Flores swimming pool complex; military pentathlon and volleyball at the AMEB Sports Complex; shooting at the Libertador Polygon and at the Eighth Inning stadium the softball and kikimbol games.

In addition, the Aragüeña entity will host in the facilities of the Bolivarian Military Aviation Academy (AMEB), in indoor and outdoor spaces, competitions in the disciplines of chess, basketball, baseball, futsal and karate, field football and the Revolutionary Tactical Resistance Method (MTRR).

The Military Inter-Academy Games, which crowned the Army Academy in their last edition, will be looking for their new champion of the XXXVII edition starting from February 20 to March 3.
