Venezuelan Josef Martínez became the eighth highest goal scorer in Major League Soccer (MLS), after coming off the bench as a substitute to score twice and reach 110 goals in the U.S. league.
Martínez entered the field in the 56th minute and with a goal in 67' and another in the 81' penalty, he achieved the tie between his Montreal New and the York Red Bulls of his compatriot Wikelman Carmona 2-2.
The Venezuelan striker scored 5 in 14 games in the current season.
Martinez is in the top 10 of the top scorers in the MLS with 110 goals. His next goal is American Ante Razov, who with 114 goals is in seventh place.
