The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) announced the referees who will beep the matches for dates 7 and 8 of the South American Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In this regard, the match between Venezuela and Bolivia, which will be held in the city of El Alto on September 5, will be led by Colombian Wilmar Roldán, while Jhon León, Richard Ortiz and Jhon Hinestroza will complete the quartet, together with Jhon Ospina and Mauricio Pérez in the VAR.

For the next date, September 10, the Brazilian Raphael Claus will be responsible in Maturín, when La Vinotinto faces the Uruguayan team. Danilo Manis, Rodrigo Correa and Bruno Arleu will accompany the principal, with Wagner Reway and Fabricio Vilarinho in the VAR, all Brazilians.

The Venezuelan Jesús Valenzuela will be in charge of directing the first-round match between the reigning champion of America, Argentina, against Chile. He will be accompanied by Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno as assistants, Alexis Herrera as the fourth referee, while Juan Soto and Carlos López will be in the VAR room.
