This Sunday, August 11, boys and girls celebrated the tricolor birthday of the Great Viva Venezuela Mission at the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural House, in Caracas, with a magic show, clowns, puppets, circus and various leisure activities in open spaces. The festive activity included an outdoor plastic exhibition where children demonstrated their pictorial skills. In addition, a workshop was held with reusable materials, led by Zara Escalona, who taught the participants how to make different objects.
Then, the boys and girls enjoyed the presentation of the group Circo Caribe, which captivated attention with a fun show of juggling, stilts and clowns that filled the atmosphere with joy. The laughs continued with the clowns Gocharito and Pepita, who presented a show that made everyone present sing and dance.
Then, the staging “Gurpila Gira, Gira Non Stop”, performed by the group Cuentaperegrino and the group Koneko, was presented. This is an oral stage narrative show that combines several artistic disciplines and provides positive reflections.
In this work, the protagonist, Gurpila, takes a journey through all human emotions through various branches of art such as singing, puppets, dancing, painting and acting. In this activity, boys and girls obtained tools to channel their emotions and learned positive values for life.
The celebration culminated with the traditional birthday song to the country in the company of children and adults who expressed their love for Venezuela in an atmosphere of peace, joy and fraternity.
