The strengthening of the university education system in the state of Monagas advanced with the formal delivery of an important supply of materials for the Universidad de Oriente (UDO). This initiative, led by the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services under the guidelines of the President (E) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, seeks the comprehensive recovery of the facilities of the academic nucleus through the joint efforts of the authorities.
The Alto de los Godos parish in the municipality of Maturín served as the setting for this activity, which responded to the commitments of the General Staff of Public Services. The governor of the entity, Ernesto Luna, received the shipment of supplies and took on the task of coordinating the necessary restoration works on the campus.
The total rehabilitation of the university's external power line constitutes the main objective of this resource contribution. Engineer Juan José Ramírez explained that the investment focuses on restoring energy stability to external areas, which guarantees a safer and more functional environment for students.
A robust inventory of technical parts makes up the supply batch, including a 50 kVA transformer and more than 5600 meters of cable. The equipment also includes power cutters, lightning rods, fuses, insulators and specialized hardware tools to ensure the immediate operation of the university electrical system.
