They install the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace

President Nicolás Maduro Moros attended the installation of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, a key meeting organized by the National Assembly that brings together 434 guests from all strategic sectors of the country to reaffirm, in a unified manner, the defense of Venezuela's sovereignty and peace.

The Head of State was accompanied by the First Lady, Deputy Cilia Flores; the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; the Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón; the Sectorial Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, G/J Vladirmir Padrino López and members of the High Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and national police forces .

The main objective of this new body is to strengthen and consolidate the security and defense of the nation through the implementation of the 3rd Great Transformation of the Plan for the Homeland of the 7T, the Great Transformations, to protect the unity and territorial integrity of the country.

The installation of this council is based on the Simon Bolivar National Plan for Sovereignty and Peace, which is activated throughout the national territory following a call from President Maduro.

In a previous call, the National President urged the people to a national enlistment process in military barracks and in the 15,751 popular bases for comprehensive defense, evidencing a strengthening of national security and defense.
