In the Sala Buen Vivir in Brussels, they held a concert entitled “Song to Peace”, in which an emotional tribute was paid to the Venezuelan and Latin American “Cantor del Pueblo” Ali Primera.

Singer-songwriter César Guzmán and the Jarocho Fandanguero Collective from Mexico dedicated songs to Ali Primera. In the musical repertoire, songs such as "Cardboard Ceilings" and other interpretations by the prodigious Venezuelan artist were heard. Latin American folklore was also part of the musical concert.

Florencia Martini, from the Belmemoire Association, began the tribute by stating that “Ali Primera consolidated himself as the voice of the oppressed, reflecting the struggles and hopes of the Venezuelan and Latin American people; his work is a universal hymn to peace”.

Ambassador Jorge Valero, head of the Mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the European Union (EU), thanked the associations Belmemoire, ARLAC, Chaska, Famido and VGC, who - together with this Diplomatic Mission - organized this significant concert, which highlighted the national and international projection of Ali Primera.

During the homage to Ali Primera, the ambassador gave a poetic recital, in which he highlighted the dignity of the Venezuelan people and their traditions, dedicating his poetry to the Cantor del Pueblo.
