Third meeting of the Venezuela-Türkiye Binational Tourism Exchange promotes training

A total of 120 people participated in a series of training conferences at the 3rd meeting of the Venezuela - Türkiye Binational Tourism Exchange, which is taking place at the Polyhedron of Caracas.
The conferences are aimed at businessmen, students, investors, Tourism Service Providers (PST) and all those interested in venturing into current tourism.
The space made it possible to raise awareness and orient policies towards the management of natural and cultural attractions located in tourist areas, to learn about and promote their sustainable use. As well as promoting the sense of belonging of the cultural elements that have served as a platform for the dissemination, valuation and conservation of heritage, essential to the identity of the Venezuelan.
Among the topics addressed were: “Venezuela, Weaving Tourism, an Engine of Transformation and Development”; “Emerging Paradigms, Sustainable and Regenerative Tourism Destinations” and the “National University of Tourism: From Specialization to Territorialization”.
The president of the Venezuelan Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (Avavit) and speaker, Vicky Herrera, highlighted the importance of national identity for the benefit of tourism. “Only by knowing our identity can we be sensitized to be able to carry out the factor of tourism development,” he said.
For her part, Katiuska Palma, an entrepreneur in the sector, expressed her satisfaction with the learning acquired. “Knowing our cultural heritage teaches us to love what we have and so we can make our own and foreigners aware of the importance they have and how we should preserve them.”
The activity was attended by the Deputy Minister of National Tourism, Braian Vargas; the director of the Tourism Training, Awareness and Training Management, Levi Galindo and the managers of the state units of the National Tourism Institute.
