An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 occurred this Friday afternoon, November 28, in the city of Huixtla, in the state of Chiapas, in southern Mexico, the National Seismological Service reported.
The earthquake, reported the Russian Today website, occurred 12 kilometers northeast of Huixtla, with no damage or casualties reported. On networks they showed the moment when the anti-seismic alarm went off and the population north of Huixtla remained calm.
On the other hand, Guatemalan media reported that the earthquake was felt in the Central American country, without major problems, with a mild intensity in some western areas.
