This Saturday , August 2, “The March for Jesus 2025" will be held in Caracas and in 20 states of Venezuela, under the slogan: “Jesus, the nations belong to you”; which is why starting this Friday, 01, Libertador Avenue in the capital has been partially closed from Centro Lido (East) to the headquarters of the National Anonymous Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV) in both directions.
The march will start this Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon from two points: Centro Lido (East) and Plaza Miranda (West) until reaching the CANTV at 4:00pm, where the event will close with the participation of special guests, including: Funky; preaching by Pastor David Scarpeta; inspirational message from Apostle Raúl Ávila and the presentation of the Venezuelan band Jahaziel Band.
Regarding the event, the president of the “March for Jesus”, Pastor Hugo Díaz, allows us to raise voices on a day of devotion and faith, also considered as a historic mobilization full of enthusiasm and commitment, since it will take place simultaneously in all 24 states of the country.
He also stressed that this is an activity to promote family unity and to thank the fact that Venezuela “is a land of grace,” he added.
The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through decree number 5,153 dated August 1, declared the first Saturday of August of each year as the National Day of “The March for Jesus”, in recognition and exaltation of the men, women, peoples and communities that every year evoke their devotion in this expression of Venezuelan evangelical Christian spiritual sentiment, a date that will also serve to celebrate, enhance and disseminate the values of Jesus Christ in the country.
The decree urges representatives of the state and municipal executive power throughout the national territory to adopt in advance the provisions established in the decree, or in other acts of their own with a view to the celebration of the National Day of “The March for Jesus”.
It also indicates that those responsible for the execution of this decree are the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.
