Three Criollos among the most voted in their positions for the MLB All-Star Game

Venezuelans José Altuve, Luis Arráez and William Contreras are
the most voted players in their respective positions, after the results of the first round of voting for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game
were announced.
In the Venezuelan second base,
he won 620,724 votes, followed by Marcus Semien with 539,223 and Michael Massey with
341,510.
Altuve has
participated five times as a starter by decision of the
fans, and he is the player of the Houston Astros who has
participated the most in the Midseason Classic.
For his
part, the waiter Arráez got 613,068 votes, the second
was for Ketel Marte with 608,807 and Bryson Stott with 486,315.
Meanwhile, Contreras swept the old circuit with
745,461 votes, his closest opponent being J. T. Realmuto with 558,624 and Will Smith with 557,970.
Criollos Andrés
Giménez, Oswaldo Cabrera, Salvador Pérez and Anthony Santander, as well as Orlando
Arcia and Willson Contreras, are also among the most voted.
Phase 2 of
the election will begin on Sunday,
June 30, with fans voting among the finalists in each
position, and will end on
Wednesday, July 3.
