Venezuelans William Contreras, Salvador Pérez and José Altuve were chosen to be part of the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Team.

This prestigious team is made up of the most outstanding players in each position.

Venezuelan receivers have taken over the position in the MLB All-Team. William Contreras, with a batting average of .281, 23 home runs and 92 RBIs, has been chosen as the best in his position, according to the Diario Meridiano.

For his part, Salvador Pérez, with 27 home runs and 104 RBIs, has consolidated his status as one of the best receivers in the league, placing second.

Meanwhile, Altuve came in second place for second base, with a batting average of .295, 20 home runs and 65 RBIs.

First base: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (1st) and Bryce Harper (2nd)

Second base: Ketel Marte (1st) and José Altuve (2nd)
