The
national under-17 football team this Wednesday will seek their way to the final of the South American
Tournament against their Colombian counterpart at the Jaime Morón León stadium in Cartagena, at
8 in the evening.
The winner
of this match will face the winning team of the match between Brazil and Chile.
Those
led by former defender of the national team, Oswaldo Vizcarrondo,
come to this match with a total of two wins, one loss and one draw, with five goals scored and three conceded.
For its
part, the local team achieved three victories and one loss with the
same number of goals scored as the Venezuelans and two against in their four previous appearances
in the tournament.
The last three South American Under-17 championship games between these teams culminated in draws: zero to zero in 2013, one goal per side in 2015 and again blank in 2017.
