Town of Yaracuy enjoyed the 7th National Meeting of Donkeys, Burriquitas and Pollinos

The Aristides Bastidas municipality of Yaracuy state became the epicenter of the 7th National Meeting of Burras, Burriquitas and Pollinos, an event that brought together more than 300 committees representing various states of the country, as well as 27 local educational institutions.

This was announced by the Government of Yaracuy on its account on the social network Instagram, in which it emphasized that this tradition, which is part of the cultural identity of Aristides Bastidas, once again demonstrated the talent and creativity that characterize its population.

During the meeting, the colorful and elaborate creations of donkeys, burriquitas and pollen were appreciated, reflecting the roots of popular traditions in this community.

“At Aristides Bastidas, we value and rescue our cultural roots, keeping alive the traditions that identify us as a people,” said Mayor Aníbal Centeno.

He also argued that this event not only promotes folklore and local crafts, but also encourages tourism and integration among the inhabitants of the region.

The success of this 7th National Meeting of Donkeys, Burriquitas and Pollinos is a testament to the commitment of the Aristides Bastida community to the preservation of its culture and traditions.
