Trade between Brazil and Russia broke record in 2023, reaching 11.3 billion dollars

During 2023, trade between Brazil and Russia surpassed $10 billion for the first time, after binational trade reached 11.3 billion dollars, the Brazilian Foreign Ministry reported in its account on the social network X.
He specified that the figure was announced at the 12th Brazil-Russia Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission (CIC) held this Tuesday, February 27 in Moscow.
In one of the messages, he details that at the event the parties evaluated “cooperation projects and initiatives to strengthen the strategic alliance (...) established more than 20 years ago”, in areas such as economy, agriculture, science and technology, education, sports, space, energy and trade.
