With deep pride and patriotic fervor, the “Simon Bolivar” School Ship arrived in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, marking the successful final leg of its most recent educational cruise abroad.

The emblematic sailboat, known internationally as the “Ambassador Without Borders”, returns to the national territory after sailing for two months and 26 days in the Caribbean Sea.

This voyage included official visits to the ports of Cuba, Mexico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Granada and Dominica, nations where the ship served as a floating classroom for the technical and human training of future officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

In a publication published by the Ministry of People's Power for Defense, the impeccable performance of the crew during the voyage was highlighted.

“Military youth, men and women forged with the same mettle as the liberators, return home after fulfilling their assigned mission with the utmost precision: to bring the art, culture and indomitable spirit of the Venezuelan people to every port in the Caribbean, defying winds and currents,” he stressed.

Throughout its navigation, the ship not only tested the seafaring prowess of its cadets, but it also fulfilled its role of diplomatic representation, thus strengthening ties of friendship and solidarity with the peoples visited.

This naval deployment reaffirms the FANB's unwavering commitment to operational excellence and comprehensive training of cadets. On the decks of the glorious sailboat, the indomitable character of the future officers, men and women of the sea who will guard with honor the national sovereignty and the sacred legacy of the liberators of the Fatherland, is forged.
