Two new shredding trains arrive to optimize debris management in La Guaira

The sector vice-president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramírez, announced the reception of two new crushing trains and three screens, equipment that will immediately be added to the operational work carried out at the Transitional Disposal Center in the state of La Guaira. This equipment will make it possible to increase the capacity for processing rubble and concrete.

These new units will allow an increase in processing capacity of 400 cubic meters per hour. In addition, the machinery will achieve a reduction in the volume of materials of up to 80%. In addition, in the two new trains, three screens are incorporated for the disintegration and pulverization of waste in order to reuse it in future construction processes.

This acquisition strengthens work in the transitory and final disposal centers for the management of debris generated after recent seismic events. According to the official report, authorities have so far processed more than 300,000 cubic meters of material. The authorities expect this new capacity to accelerate land sanitation and reduce collection times at critical points in the city.
