In response to the contingency registered in the state of La Guaira, CANTV workers installed satellite antennas in the temporary camps set up at the Simón Bolívar University, the Los Caracas Holiday Complex and the VIP Club, in Naiguatá, to guarantee Internet service to families who remain in these spaces.
Technological solutions strengthen communications in the main temporary care spaces, and at strategic points such as the Caraballeda Golf Course, the Seniat and Fundalanavial, facilitating the coordination of the agencies responsible for assistance and recovery in the entity, while allowing families to stay connected.
As part of this deployment, CANTV also enabled satellite connectivity on the OPP-22, both in the north wing and in the south wing, as well as at the checkpoint of Corpoelec and the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services, strengthening coordination between the institutions responsible for emergency care.
Additionally, according to a press release, the company activated satellite Internet service in the Los Corales bowling alley and Las Palmeras plaza in Caraballeda, expanding connectivity coverage at strategic points for care and recovery.
Simultaneously, CANTV crews continue to carry out inspection, recovery and modernization of telecommunications infrastructure in different sectors of the Guaíre coast.
