Transport minister oversees work progress at Maracay's eastern terminal in Aragua

The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velázquez Araguayán, inspected the construction project of the new Terminal de Oriente, located in San Jacinto de Maracay in the state of Aragua, hand in hand with representatives of the local government.
This is a work that is part of the plan to reorganize the city's public transport service, which is planned to be inaugurated in the coming months.
During the tour of these spaces, the officials evaluated all the works related to the completion of the platforms, the construction of the administrative building, green areas, lighting system and pavement, and were able to verify a technical progress of the work of 75%.
The new Terminal de Oriente will have an area for loading and unloading passengers, distributed in five waiting areas with rest areas and parking spaces for buses. In addition, it will have an administrative headquarters where spaces will be allocated for commercial services, ticket offices for buying and selling tickets, communication centers, among others.
