Troncal del Caribe in La Guajira comes into operation after being rehabilitated by the Bolivarian Government

As part of the set of works inaugurated and reinaugurated by the Bolivarian Government, this Friday, December 26, Troncal #6 de la Guajira, which connects Venezuela and Colombia, was put into operation.

This was reported by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the working day of the “Obratón” that he headed from the Nestor Kirchner Hall of the Miraflores Palace.

This work was the subject of repaving work with the installation of 58,000 tons of hot asphalt along the 60 kilometers that make up this important road artery in the municipality of Guajira.

During sustained satellite contact from this important road artery, the governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, explained that the rehabilitation makes it possible to strengthen trade, tourism and culture in this important border area with Colombia.

He specified that this work is part of the 34 fronts of action implemented in the Zulian entity to serve the road with the placement of more than 427,000 tons.
