Trujillo takes action to choose its projects in the 2nd National Popular Consultation 2025

This Sunday, from the early hours, the inhabitants of Trujillo went to the authorized voting centers and demonstrated their commitment to strengthening the Communal State through the II National Popular Consultation 2025.

In the Eduardo Blanco Educational Unit, located in the Eastern Parish, citizen Dailing Osorio expressed her satisfaction with election day: “From a very early age we have been here exercising our right to vote on the second proposal of the communal circuit. We support this process through the communal assembly, promoting democracy.”

Osorio highlighted that among the proposed projects are rehabilitation and channeling initiatives, as well as proposals to strengthen the self-government room and the development of entrepreneurs.
“We invite the entire community and community councils to join this initiative. This process is an advance for the future of our community and a global example,” he added.

The day, organized by the National Electoral Council (CNE), activated 5,718 voting centers and 7,048 polling stations across the country. In total, 5,336 Communes and Community Circuits deployed, together with 47,214 Community Councils, who selected projects that will directly impact their communities.
