Trump charges Zelenski and calls him an incompetent president

This Tuesday, February 18, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, participated in a press conference regarding the talks initiated by Russian and American officials in Saudi Arabia and stated that the Head of State of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky, is “completely incompetent, makes ridiculous statements and his leadership allowed the war to continue.”

Trump said he is disappointed by the Ukrainian government 's dissatisfaction with the negotiations to stop the conflict and described the meeting held as very good.

“I am more secure (...) I think I have the power to end this war,” he added, reinforcing his confidence.

Trump also spoke about Russia's role in the conflict. “The Russians didn't want to destroy Kiev, if they had wanted to they would have done it very quickly,” said the Republican.
