Trump to Zelensky: The US needs something in exchange for the money spent in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump announced that he told the leader of the Kiev regime, Volodimir Zelensky, that Washington needs something in exchange for the money spent in Ukraine.

According to the president, Washington has already spoken to Zelenski about “any equivalent of American taxpayer money”. The politician stressed that he will not allow anyone else to take advantage of the United States.

The current tenant of the White House announced that he plans to meet with the leader of the Kiev regime next week, and that it is possible that he will be held in Washington, assuring that he does not plan to go to Kiev. In addition, he said that he will “probably talk” with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. “I would like that war to end,” he was quoted as saying by the digital media RT.

In this context, Trump also referred to the discussions he wants to discuss with Zelenski about supporting Ukraine. Previously, the spokesman for the White House National Security Council, Brian Hughes, emphasized Trump's statements, assuring that, with rare earths from Ukraine, the US could compensate for all the money that has been spent on aid to Kiev.
