The Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), in response to the Appeal of Amparo provided by the Aristobulo Istúriz Bolivarian Family Movement, announced the formation of a multidisciplinary team that will evaluate the effects of the challenges disseminated on the social network Tiktok on children and adolescents.
With the reading of the agreement of the conclusions of the hearing, carried out by the president of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court, Tania D'Amelio, it was emphasized that compliance must be immediate.
The agreement states that the multidisciplinary team will be composed of sociologists, psychiatrists, social workers, anthropologists and psychologists, who will prepare a report and deliver it to the Constitutional Chamber, which will deal with the effects of these types of challenges disseminated by the social network Tiktok on human behavior, especially that of children and adolescents.
The Aristobulo Istúriz Bolivarian Family Movement, submitted to the Supreme Court an application of amparo for the protection of children and young people in the face of the threat posed by the viral challenges of the social network Tiktok, in support of a request made by President Nicolás Maduro, who asked TikTok Latin America to remove from the country all publications of challenges that endanger the lives of children and teenagers.
