TUPAMARO capped off its anniversary week with a Revolutionary parade

In Bolivar Square in Caracas, the TUPAMARO Revolutionary Movement held a military parade and wreath on the occasion of its 21st anniversary as a political party. The National Operational Directorate and its members were also present there, accompanied by parties from the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB).

This protocol ceremony was celebrated at the end of its anniversary week, where Williams Benavides, National Secretary General, said that it is 21 years thanks to the call made by Commander Hugo Chávez to form itself as a political party and that today they are the second political force in the street.”

He also emphasized: “This anniversary week has historic value, many of us come from the student, labor and revolutionary left movement that was fighting Adeco-Copeyan oppression in the street.”

In that vein, he also stressed: “We are lovers of life and joy, so we fight for a world that is full of social justice and the inequalities, atrocities and disgust of capitalism as a system.”

This activity ended with a joyful exchange between the guests and the militants, where the birthday was sung to the red-black organization and with songs, slogans and rebel essence they sealed the important event.
