The Venezuelan Luis Arráez is determined to prove that he has won three batting titles in the big leagues, at the start of the season with his new club he has already won two multi-hit games.

On Wednesday, he played 4-3 with 3 hits, a double and a run scored, although that couldn't stop the San Francisco Giants from giving up 7-1 at the home of the San Diego Padres, Meridiano reports.

Arráez is already above .300 on average, accumulating seven hits, one RBI, one scored, one double, and .668 in OPS.

In the first match of the season against his former San Diego Padres team, Arráez received an emotional tribute at the Petco Park facilities. On the big screens, they screened a video in which they thanked the Venezuelan for his contributions to the team and received an ovation from the fans.
