The Venezuelan weightlifter Génesis Rodríguez scored an impeccable performance at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, winning two gold medals in the 58-kilogram category.

Rodríguez demonstrated his absolute dominance on the stage by winning the gold medal in the starting mode, after lifting 95 kilograms, and in the driving test 117 kilograms.

With these marks, the Venezuelan athlete accumulated an Olympic total of 212 kilograms, conclusively securing the top of the podium.
