Two schools in Nueva Cúa are being rehabilitated by the Government of Miranda

Some 480 students from the Nueva Cúa sector, in the Urdaneta municipality of Miranda state, will be treated with the rehabilitation of two educational centers.

According to information issued by the government, the first center to be intervened corresponds to the Rosarito Lugo preschool, where work is being carried out to change the roof, rehabilitation of bathrooms, sanitation of sewage and rainwater pipes, rehabilitation of metal fabrics, among others.

The other renovated school is José Leonardo Chirinos, where work is being carried out to remove slab, roof covering, restoration of bathrooms, living rooms and kitchen. This institution has 23 classrooms.

“Here we continue to comply with the instructions of our President Nicolás Maduro and Governor Héctor Rodríguez to serve the communities,” said the mayor of the Urdaneta municipality, Jonatan Herrera.

These works are carried out by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Government of Miranda State and the mayor's office.

In this community, the recovery and rehabilitation of the Villas de San Martín health clinic is also being carried out, a project that was chosen in the Miranda Popular Consultation 2024.
