UCV defeated Deportivo Táchira and qualified for the final phase of the FUTVE 2024 League opening tournament

UCV FC became the first to qualify for the final phase of the Apertura de la Liga Futve 2024 thanks to their 2-0 win against Deportivo Táchira this Friday on the 11th date of the local tournament.

With goals from Brayan Hurtado and Daniel de Sousa, the university students prevailed against some Andean players who were not a threat to the undefeated leader of the championship, who now stands at 23 points with 6 wins and 5 draws.

For his part, Táchira is in fifth position (16) with one more match than his pursuers and will travel this Saturday to Paraguay, in southern lands, he will seek points against Libertad, for the second day of Group H, Copa Libertadores de América 2024.
