The United Nations (UN) Human Rights Office denounced the extrajudicial execution of two Palestinians in Jenin, while Israeli forces intensified operations, house demolitions and arrests in several areas of the West Bank. The agency confirmed that unarmed citizens were killed after surrendering to law enforcement in that town.

UN spokesman Jeremy Laurence expressed dismay at the action against Muntaser Billah Mahmoud Qassim Abdullah, 26, and Youssef Ali Youssef Asasa, 37. According to the WAFA agency, the military broke into Jabal Abu Dhahir, surrounded a warehouse, forced the two men to leave after knocking down the door with an excavator, killed them at point-blank range and held their bodies.

In parallel, the Israeli military demolished houses in the southwestern area of the Jenin refugee camp and evacuated residents. In Tubas, a family was evicted and their house was converted into a military outpost, expanding the presence of Zionism in the northern West Bank.

The Israeli army and the Shin Bet security service are carrying out a large scale operation in the northern West Bank, which began two days ago. In September, an independent United Nations investigation concluded that Israel's action against the Palestinian civilian population constitutes genocide and that Israeli leaders incited this crime, while the government of Benjamin Netanyahu continues its actions without any international intervention.
